Founded in 1964, the Association des Résidents de l'Esplanade (ARES) today boasts 40 committed directors who, as members of the Management Committee, defend the interests of Esplanadians on a daily basis.

Since 1974, ARES has also been a socio-cultural center approved by the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales, with a range of services and activities dedicated to toddlers, children, young people, adults and seniors.

ARES is a place for expression, sharing, meeting, exchanging and listening.
It fosters social ties and community life by developing partnerships with local businesses, schools and services, and by supporting and welcoming other local associations.
ARES is open to all, whether able-bodied or disabled.
